Career Speaker Day at Annandale High School
Career Speaker Day at Annandale High School offers students a valuable chance to explore a wide variety of career options and hear directly from professionals in our community. Speakers represent a broad range of fields including law enforcement, mental health, education, skilled trades, business, the arts, and more, giving students exposure to many potential paths.
These professionals share their career journeys, the challenges and successes they've experienced, and the different paths that led them to where they are today. The goal is to inspire students, broaden their understanding of the world of work, and help them start thinking about their own futures. In past years, the day has led to meaningful connections—resulting in job shadowing, apprenticeships, and even employment opportunities for students.
